Description
Cell-permeable. Helps in promoting human embryonic stem cell (hESC) survival by > 30-fold. Thiazovivin enhances the efficiency of fibroblast reprogramming to generate induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) when used in combination with SB-431542 and PD 0325901. Acts as a Rho-associated Kinase (ROCK) inhibitor. Tzv (2 µM) inhibits ROCK activity and protect hESCs at a similar level as Y-27632 (10 µM), a well-known, selective ROCK inhibitor.
