| Product Overview | This sandwich Kit is designed for the precise quantitative detection of Rat Telomere Repeat Binding Factor 2 (also known as TRF2) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, cell lysates, tissue homogenates. This Kit utilizes the Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) method. The plate has been pre-coated with Rat TRF2 antibody. TRF2 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Rat TRF2 Antibody is added and binds to TRF2 in the sample. Following this, Streptavidin-HRP is introduced and binds to the Biotinylated TRF2 antibody. During a washing step, any unbound Streptavidin-HRP is removed. A substrate solution is then added, and color development occurs in proportion to the quantity of Rat TRF2. The reaction is halted by adding an acidic stop solution, and the absorbance is measured at 450 nm. |

| Notes | Occasionally, trace amounts of reagent may remain in the closure of the product vial during shipment and storage of the TRF2 ELISA kit. It is recommended that any liquid that may be present in the lid of the container be centrifuged to the bottom using a bench-top centrifuge prior to experimentation. |
