Proteomics platforms are capable of assessing various proteins from a wide range of biological samples. Proteomics studies allow the identification of protein classes in different tissues and the characterization of changes in protein expression to provide insight into aging mechanisms and to be used as biomarkers to monitor the aging process of the body. This new source of aging information also offers the possibility of lifespan extension and the development of disease therapies. To address proteomic research in aging, CD BioSciences provides quantitative analysis of aging proteins to give researchers direct information about the biological pathways of aging.
We use LC-MS/MS technology to provide proteome analysis of numerous biological samples to obtain a comprehensive proteomic data set. Our clients can use such a valuable information resource to understand and elucidate the molecular pathways of aging and related diseases.
Aging-related protein abundance
We provide a comprehensive view of protein abundance changes associated with aging, allowing researchers to identify proteins that are upregulated or downregulated during the aging process.
Aging-related protein co-expression network
We provide protein co-expression network analysis that correlates protein modules with aging or related diseases to elucidate their link to diagnosis.
Tissue-specific changes in the aging process
Using proteome quantification analysis, we can compare protein abundance levels between different tissues or organs, offering insights into tissue-specific changes that occur during aging.
The generic operational flow of our analytical method is shown in the figure below and can be used for large-scale quantitative proteomics.
In-depth coverage of sample proteome. Our protein sequencing depth can be assessed by technology validation and data comparison, and over 90% of proteins can be identified with high confidence, covering most of the proteome in depth.
Proteome-wide quantification. The main advantage of our technology is the ability to quantify multiple proteins in a sample simultaneously, multiplexing in LC-MS/MS analysis, and the ability to quantify proteins across a batch to reduce batch-to-batch variation.
