Displays inhibitory effect on alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (alpha-MSH)-induced melanogenesis in melanoma B16 cells (IC50= 9.6 µM). The mode of action is through the inhibition of alpha-MSH-induced tyrosinase synthesis. | |
