Product Overview | This sandwich Kit is designed for the precise quantitative detection of human Telomere Repeat Binding Factor 1 (also known as TRF1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, cell lysates, tissue homogenates. This Kit utilizes the Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) method. The plate has been pre-coated with human TRF1 antibody. TRF1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated human TRF1 Antibody is added and binds to TRF1 in the sample. Following this, Streptavidin-HRP is introduced and binds to the Biotinylated TRF1 antibody. During a washing step, any unbound Streptavidin-HRP is removed. A substrate solution is then added, and color development occurs in proportion to the quantity of human TRF1. The reaction is halted by adding an acidic stop solution, and the absorbance is measured at 450 nm. |
Storage Conditions | Store at 2 to 8°C for 6 months |
Notes | Occasionally, trace amounts of reagent may remain in the closure of the product vial during shipment and storage of the TRF1 ELISA kit. It is recommended that any liquid that may be present in the lid of the container be centrifuged to the bottom using a bench-top centrifuge prior to experimentation. |
