Product Overview	Cathepsin B (human) ELISA Kit is based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay technology. This assay employs a mouse Cathepsin B specific, polyclonal antibody coated onto a 96-well plate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and any Cathepsin B present is bound by the immobilized antibody. A biotinylated detection polyclonal goat antibody, specific for Cathepsin B is then added. After washing away unbound biotinylated antibody with PBS or TBS, Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex is added to the wells. The wells are again washed with PBS or TBS to remove unbound conjugate. HRP substrate (TMB) is used to visualize the presence of Cathepsin B. TMB is oxidized to produce a blue product that is converted to yellow after adding stop solution. The intensity of yellow color is proportional to the amount of human Cathepsin B captured on the plate. This ELISA kit shows no cross-reactivity with other relevant proteins. Detection Range: 156 pg/mL – 10,000 pg/mL. Sensitivity: < 5 pg/mL.
