Product Overview | This product constitutes a ready-to-use microwell and strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit designed for the assessment of the WD repeat containing, antisense to TP53 (WRAP53) ELISA Kit target analytes within biological samples. The concentration gradients of the Kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical Kit detection range in biological research samples containing WRAP53. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the Kit is based on WRAP53 antibody-WRAP53 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect WRAP53 antigen targets in samples. It's important to note that this ELISA Kit is specifically tailored for detecting native, not recombinant WRAP53. |
Storage Conditions | Store all reagents at 2-8°C |
Notes | Occasionally, trace amounts of reagent may remain in the closure of the product vial during shipment and storage of the TCAB1 ELISA kit. It is recommended that any liquid that may be present in the lid of the container be centrifuged to the bottom using a bench-top centrifuge prior to experimentation. |
Reactivity | Bovine |
Shipping Conditions | Dry Ice |

NCBI Protein Information | telomerase Cajal body protein 1, WD repeat domain 79, WD repeat-containing protein 79, WD40 repeat-containing protein encoded by RNA antisense to p53 |
UniProt Protein Name | Telomerase Cajal body protein 1 |
UniProt Synonym Gene Names | TCAB1, WDR79 |
UniProt Primary Accession | Q3SWZ7 |
Protein Family | Telomerase Cajal body protein |
UniProt Comments | Essential component of the telomerase holoenzyme complex, a ribonucleoprotein complex essential for the replication of chromosome termini that elongates telomeres in most eukaryotes. In the telomerase holoenzyme complex, it controls telomerase localization to Cajal body. Required for delivery of TERC to telomeres during S phase and for telomerase activity. Binds small Cajal body RNAs (scaRNAs). The mRNA encoding this protein plays a critical role in the regulation of p53 expression at the post-transcriptional level; it is involved both in maintaining basal p53 mRNA levels and in p53 induction upon DNA damage |
