TRF1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Rat TRF1 Antibody is added and binds to TRF1 in the sample. Following this, Streptavidin-HRP is introduced and binds to the Biotinylated TRF1 antibody. During a washing step, any unbound Streptavidin-HRP is removed. A substrate solution is then added, and color development occurs in proportion to the quantity of Rat TRF1. The reaction is halted by adding an acidic stop solution, and the absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
