Aniracetam, also known as N-anisoyl-2-pyrrolidinone, together with piracetam and nefiracetam, belongs to the same class of piracetam-metabolized drugs of brain cells. It is a non-NMDA receptor agent useful for the treatment of cognitive impairment.
